This, this, this is about Trust. This is about the wall, my wall 20 by 10, every brick set in concrete. Through this wall you can look at me, but you can’t see me. Through this wall you can listen but not hear me. This, this, this, is about you fighting through, climbing the wall, breaking off each brick and finally when you got through, you walked towards me, took my hand and said, “You’re beautiful.” And at first I said no, and at first I fought because I was scared because no one fought as hard as you did to break down that wall, my wall. Because everyone that ever tried, gave up, quit, lied. But not you. You fought, you let me learn to trust, let me learn to learn, let me learn to SEE that you weren’t going to give up, quit, lie. And finally, finally I got to this place, our place, trust, excitement, happiness. And you were special, you were like no one else, you broke through, and kissed me, and treasured me, and made me laugh when I wanted to cry, and put me back together again. And when I tried to run away, as hard as I tried to push away, you took my hand and you ran with me. And finally, finally I got to THIS place, this place I’ve never been before: a place of security, faith, love. And then one day, one day, one day you STOPPED. Each brick I took down, each brick I fought for, each brick of your 30 by 20 you started building back up. And I scream NO. I screamed PLEASE STOP. But you didn’t. You turned it off. Every brick I fought to tear down, you built right back up. Your rebuilt your wall, you rebuilt your wall. And then, and then you REBUILT mine.
